The scope, the natural lay of the land is actually spectacular. It’s almost a wonder of nature the way the rivers and mountains and skylines weave into each other. It becomes more like visual art. Thats pretty dazzling. Your first impression is not just the beauty but the scope of the beauty and the depth of the beauty.

Working in the travel industry in the UK he moved with his family to Auckland in July 2002 to start his DMC business focusing on C&I businesses in Europe and the USA. Visa granted by NZIS to set-up a travel business to promote the country. He quickly set to work establishing supplier liaisons, building a website and then emailing and contacting a long list of specialists around the world. A number of very positive responses that led to a number of inquiries being placed. 3 fully escorted trips arranged/planned and then the world experiences SARS, Bird Flu, terrorism and war, all effecting global travel plans and arrangements. Below is the first proposal introduction –

New Zealand, a magical land, a true slice of South Pacific paradise with an alluring mix of tranquillity, unspoilt beauty, cosmopolitan cityscape and adrenaline-pumping adventure.  This is a destination that wins a special place in the heart of every visitor to set foot ashore.

Ancient Maori culture, myths and legends combine with the landscape to bind the country with intrigue and inspiration.  This is a country small in numbers, big at heart and strong in spirit.

The downtown cosmopolitan lifestyle of New Zealand’s largest cities – Auckland, lays claim to its new-found status as one of the latest ‘World-Cities’, and the vibrant capital, Wellington, in the North Island, strikes a contrast to the southern cities of Christchurch and Dunedin, where tradition and history take precedence.  All can offer everything to be demanded of a city – superb restaurants, cool cafes, wonderful bars, hot clubs and excellent shopping – coloured with a unique touch provided by the ‘Kiwi’ personalities.

…… an enhanced land everyone dreamed of finding

Pauls Travel Highlights:

Concorde – MIA / NYC / LHR – BA Fam

Orient Express – in Winter – Thompson Holidays agent SKI FAM

Lufthansa – NYC Winter Fam in conjunction with Leading Hotels of The World

Emirates – Upgrade fr Business to first class – DXB / BKK

LOVE TO TRAVEL – I fly back to the UK each year and I always fly business class. Recent experiences with AIR NZ, VIRGIN AIRWAYS (fr SYD), QATAR AIRWAYS and EMIRATES have been most enjoyable. Loved a FREE Upgrade to FIRST CLASS on DXB – BKK leg of my trip. Best value for $ was Southern China by far. The worst experience was Malaysian and a Korean Airlines leg SEL – AKL. On a recent trip, I even did a live stream to my Youtube Channel at 34,000 feet on QR

CATERING – I am a qualified Chef City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 (I think I am qualified to comment on what they call a ‘good feed’ in NZ)

New Zealand has some amazing food, that’s waiting for you, I personally love my seafood dishes. If you are visiting our country in the winter months and you notice Seafood Chowder on the menu, be sure to try it, you won’t be disappointed. I believe food tastes better in NZ because it’s not mass-produced, you will find that out for yourself like I did when I first did in 1999/2000

…… an unspoilt wilderness that encompasses golden beaches, alpine peaks, clean lakes, tropical rainforests and active volcanoes. The population is smaller than London’s and the country has great food and wine.  That’s my idea of the perfect destination.
